Dear OGA Families,
We are in the last month of school! It is hard to believe that the year is nearly at a close, and I am sure many of our students are ready for summer break.
We have a very busy month ahead of us, with Spring FAST and EOCs taking place in these final days. Please remember to send your child to school on these days prepared with a good night's rest and a healthy breakfast. It is essential to avoid scheduling doctor appointments on these days so students can be focused and given the correct amount of time for each test section. Students should arrive on time with their OCPS-issued device and charger. Devices should be fully charged and immediately restarted once they get to campus.
Also, to highlight the accomplishments of our fifth and eighth graders, OGA will celebrate with award ceremonies at the end of the month in our auditorium. We will celebrate 5th grade on Thursday, May 22, at 9:00 a.m. Our 8th-grade students will be awarded on Tuesday, May 27, at 9:00 a.m.
Lastly, on May 27 and May 28th, the last two days of school, please remind your students that no backpacks are permitted at any OCPS school.
