Chess Clubs will meet on the following days:
Second grade Chess Club meets on Friday mornings from 8:10-8:40 AM.
3rd-5th grade Chess Club meets on Tuesday (JV) or Thursday (V) after school from 3:15-4:00 PM.
Middle School Chess Club meets on Tuesday mornings from 8:10-8:40 AM.

2nd Grade Chess Club will be a place for students to learn how to play chess and offer an opportunity for open play.
3rd-5th Grade Chess Club will provide a platform for open play. While there will not be direct instruction, I will be available to offer assistance to students, who are still learning.
Determination of placement on JV or Varsity team is determined by scores on ChessKid in the following categories: Slow Chess, Fast Chess, and Puzzles.
Middle School Chess Club offers an opportunity for open play and informal coaching from student peers.
Open to all 2-8 students.
*Competition teams will be selected from each club based on student performance and attendance.
Being in the Chess Club does not guarantee participation on a tournament team!
